Picture
After serving a term in the US Marines, Kimberly worked as a model. She also worked with disabled children for six years before returning to college. There she happened to take a course in beginning screenwriting which reawakened her love of writing and story telling.  Within six months after completing the the advanced course, Kimberly had finished her first screenplay and secured an agent. She continued to write, submit scripts, and develop her skill as a writer.  Her hard work paid off when she was hired to co-write The Keyma (DVD title) aka Finding Redemption.   Her next project, Inside Irvin, was eventually followed by the teen horror film, Jack the Reaper which she not only wrote but which served as her directorial debut.  Since Jack the Reaper, Kimberly has won numerous awards with her most recent Best Short Script award going to her project, The Lighthouse.
Kimberly also serves as President of The Baakari Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization that supports wildlife conservation, domestic and wild animal rescue, and humanitarian efforts worldwide.
