Hi Toni,
I've been hesitant to reach out to you, because I don't want to intrude in any way. However, I checked with Cindi East, and she thought you would not mind.
I have request. I'm an active member of the Inland Empire (independent) filmmaking community, and not long ago I launched a FREE website called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). I would love it if you'd check it out. It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but since indie filmmakers are frequently looking for actors, I've included sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES as well. So often our filmmakers turn to LA to find their talent, and I've always felt that was a shame as we have so much of it here in the IE.
I know you don't need help finding roles, but after you check it out, I hope you'll choose to let me list you as an ACTOR. Also, in order to make the website a useful resource for directors, I need to have a fair number of actors in the ACTOR galleries. If you would, could you possibly let other actors know about the website. The sooner I get the galleries built up, the sooner I can activate the ACTOR pages.
I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how the layout will look once it's activated, but I won't include you without your OK.
If you'd like to be listed, and I hope you will, please send me--along with your go-ahead--the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use and your HEIGHT. If there's a different PHOTO you'd prefer, you can send that, too.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included. I look forward to hearing from you.

Independent-Empire website invite from Pat Trimmer
Hi Destiny,
Congratulations on being cast in the "super secret project." I can't wait to see it!
Anyhow, here's why I'm writing. Not long ago I launched a new FREE website called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but since indie filmmakers are frequently looking for actors, I've included sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES as well. I focused first on filmmakers, but have now started reaching out to actors. So often our filmmakers turn to LA to find their talent, and I've always felt that was a shame as we have so much of it here in the IE.
I know you don't need help finding roles, but I hope you'll check out the website anyway and perhaps choose to let me list you as an ACTOR.
To make the website a really useful resource for directors, I need a lot of actors in the ACTOR galleries. If you would, could you possibly let any other actors who might be interested know about the website. The sooner I get the galleries built up, the sooner I can activate the ACTOR pages.
I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how the layout will look, but I won't include you without your OK.

Hi Max
Remember Actors of the Empire, that website you were part of that I had to shut down? Well, it's evolved a bit, and I'd like to invite you to check out the new one I've launched called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but since they are often in need of actors, I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES. Like the other website, it's completely FREE.
I know you are heavily in demand and don't need any help finding roles, but I'd like to invite you to be part of the website anyway. I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how the layout will look, but I won't include you with out your OK. Until now, I've been working strictly on the FILMMAKER pages (There's still a lot to do.) and have only just begun inviting actors. It's going to take awhile to accumulate enough to activate their sections.
If you'd like to be listed, please send me--along with your go-ahead--the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use, your HEIGHT, and your BIRTH YEAR. If there's a different photo you'd prefer, you can send that, too.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included (and I hope you will).

Hi Patrick, fb 6/10

Hi Anthony, (Werely)
Remember me? Our paths have crossed a time or two and we even worked on a 48 together. Hope you're doing well, and it certainly seems like the pandemic hasn't slowed you down much.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. What with the pandemic severely limiting filmmaking (and almost everything else), I decided to embark on a different kind of project--one that I hope will be of use to the IE filmmaking community. For the past few months I've been building the infrastructure for a FREE website intended to help IE filmmakers keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other. I've called that website INDEPENDENT EMPIRE. It's about to launch, and I'd like it to include you.

Hi Tony,
Remember "Actors of the Empire," that website you so graciously agreed to be a part of that I had to shut down? Well, it's evolved a bit, and I'd like to invite you to check out the new one I've launched called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net).

Hi Max,
It feels like it has been a long time since we've worked together, or even since I've gotten to see you on stage. Hopefully, it won't be much longer. Meanwhile, I am writing you for a reason.

Hi Maxwell,
I'm not sure whether to approach you as a FILMMAKER or ACTOR or both, but anyway, here's why I'm writing.
I've recently launched a FREE website called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). It's for Inland Empire FILMMAKERS, but since indy filmmakers are frequently looking for actors, I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES as well. So often our filmmakers turn to LA to find their talent, and I've always felt that was a shame as we have so much of it here in the IE.
I hope you'll check out the website and perhaps (I hope) choose to let me list you as a FILMMAKER, an ACTOR, or both.
I've attached two screenshots, one for each section. The FILMMAKER page could clearly use some fleshing out, especially your profile. As a freelancer, have you given your company a name yet? And did you by any chance do the sound mixing for a short called "Eyelet?"
The ACTOR page screenshot is just to give you an idea as to how the layout will look. I won't activate either page without your OK. Until now, I've been working strictly on the FILMMAKER pages (there is still a lot to do) and have only just begun inviting actors. It's going to take awhile to accumulate enough to activate their sections.
If you'd like to be listed in the ACTOR section, please send me--along with your go-ahead--the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use, your HEIGHT, and BIRTH YEAR. If there's a different photo you'd prefer, you can send that, too.
If you'd like a FLIMMAKER page, you might want to check out a couple other filmmaker pages and send me what pertinent info you can. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you want. If you have a non-film related business, I'd be happy to list that in the SIDE HUSTLES section, and I'd love it if you would be willing/able to contribute to the other sections.
I view the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. I look forward to hearing from you.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included. Take care, and I hope to hear from you soon.

It's been quite a while since I've been in touch. Remember Actors of the Empire, that website you were part of that I had to shut down? Well, it's evolved, and I'd like to invite you to check out the new one I've just launched called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but since indy filmmakers are frequently looking for actors, I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES. So often our filmmakers turn to LA to find their talent, and, as you know, I've always felt that was a shame as we have so much of it here in the IE.
I'd like to list you on the website. Like the other website, it's completely FREE. I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how it will look, but I won't include you with out your OK. Until now, I've been working on the FILMMAKER pages and have only just begun inviting actors. It's going to take awhile to accumulate enough to activate their sections.
If you'd like to be listed, please send me--along with your go-ahead--the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use, your HEIGHT, and BIRTH YEAR. If there's a different photo you'd prefer, you can send that, too.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included (and I hope you will).
Hi Don,
I've already sent an email like this to Cheryl, but I wanted to make sure you were included in other than a parenthetical note. Anyway, I've launched a new website, Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES. Like the previous website, it's completely free. If you've got a minute, perhaps you could pay it a visit and take a look.
I'd like to list you on the website. I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how the layout will look, but I won't include you with out your OK. I've been working on the FILMMAKER pages and have only just begun inviting actors.

Hey Terre,
Remember how you agreed to let me list you on that website (Actors of the Empire) that I had to shut down? Well, it's evolved into something that I think is better. I've launched a new website, Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES. Like the previous website, it's completely free. If you've got a minute, perhaps you could pay it a visit and take a look.
Can I list you on the website? I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how the layout will look, but I won't include you with out your OK. I've been working on the FILMMAKER pages and have only just begun inviting actors. It's going to take awhile to accumulate enough to activate their sections.

Please let me know if you'd like to be included (and I hope you will).

PS -- How are you and Lisa doing? Were you able to make it to Hawaii before the pandemic?

Hi Michael,
I don't know whether or not you're aware, but I've recently launched a FREE website called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but since indy filmmakers are frequently looking for actors, I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES as well. I know you are heavily in demand and have no need for help finding roles, but I'd like to extend an invitation to you, anyway.
I hope you'll check out the website and perhaps (I hope) choose to let me list you as an actor. I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how the layout will look, but I won't include you with out your OK. Until now, I've been working on the FILMMAKER pages (there is still a lot to do) and have only just begun inviting actors. It's going to take awhile to accumulate enough to activate their sections.
If you'd like to be listed, please send me--along with your go-ahead--the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use, your HEIGHT, and BIRTH YEAR. If there's a different photo you'd prefer, you can send that, too, though I think the one in the sample looks pretty terrific.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included. Take care, and I hope to hear from you soon.
Hi Anthony, (Werely. Email sent, now fb)
Some time ago I sent you an email. Since I'm not sure you got it, I'm resending here on fb.
Our paths have crossed a time or two and we even worked on a 48 together. We're also friends on fb. Hope you're doing well, and it certainly seems like the pandemic hasn't slowed you down much.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. Not long ago I launched a new FREE website called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but since indie filmmakers are frequently looking for actors, I've included sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES as well. I know you don't need help finding roles, but I hope you'll check out the website anyway and perhaps choose to let me list you as an ACTOR.
Also, to make the website a really useful resource for directors, I need to have a lot of actors in the ACTOR galleries. If you would, could you possibly let any other actors who might be interested know about the website. The sooner I get the galleries built up, the sooner I can activate the ACTOR/ACTRESS pages.
I've attached a screenshot (size-reduced for screen shot) to give you an idea as to how the layout will look, but I won't include you without your OK.
If you'd like to be listed, and I hope you will, please send me--along with your go-ahead--the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use and your HEIGHT. If there's a different PHOTO you'd prefer, you can send that, too. It was really hard to find a solo photo of you, BTW.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Max,
It feels like it has been a long time since we've worked together, or even since I've gotten to see you on stage. Hopefully, it won't be much longer. Meanwhile, I am writing you for a reason.
Remember Actors of the Empire, that website you were part of that I had to shut down? Hi Maxwell,
I'm not sure whether to approach you as a FILMMAKER or ACTOR or both, but anyway, here's why I'm writing.
Hi Nathan,
How are you? Judging by your fb postings you're doing well and your collection is growing.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing.
I hope you'll check out the website and perhaps (I hope) choose to let me list you as an ACTOR. I know you've also done a lot of filming, so let me know if you'd also like to be included in the FILMMAKERS section.
Hi Raj,
How are you? I hope you are doing well. 2020 sure has been hard on filmmaking, but hopefully we're beginning to come out of it.
I'd like to list you on the website. I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how the layout will look, but I won't include you with out your OK. Until now, I've been working strictly on the FILMMAKER pages and have only just begun inviting actors, and it's going to take awhile to accumulate enough to activate their sections.
If you'd like to be listed, please send me--along with your go-ahead--the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use, your HEIGHT, and your BIRTH YEAR. If there's a different photo you'd prefer, you can send that, too.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included.

Hi Don,
I've already sent an email like this to Cheryl, but I wanted to make sure you were included in other than a parenthetical note.

Hey Terre,
Remember how you agreed to let me list you on that website (Actors of the Empire) that I had to shut down? Well, it's evolved into something that I think is better. I've launched a new website, Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net). It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES. Like the previous website, it's completely free. If you've got a minute, perhaps you could pay it a visit and take a look.
Can I list you on the website? I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how the layout will look, but I won't include you with out your OK.

So often our filmmakers turn to LA to find their talent, and I've always felt that was a shame as we have so much of it here in the IE.
I know you don't need help finding roles, but I hope you'll check out the website anyway and perhaps choose to let me list you as an ACTOR.

Hi Xandrea,

I'd like to list you on the website. Like the other website, it's completely FREE. I've attached a screenshot to give you an idea as to how it will look, but I won't include you with out your OK. Hi Rosalie,
My it's certainly been a long time since I've addressed you as "Your Honor." I'm so glad we are (slowly) coming to the end of this pandemic, but it still seems bitter-sweet knowing there won't be a Rancho Cucamonga Community Theater at the Lewis Family Playhouse anymore.
Ånyhow, I am writing for a reason. I've recently launched a FREE website, Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net), and I'd love to have you check it out. Hi Renna,
Please allow me to (re)introduce myself. My name is Pat Trimmer, and I am an active member of the Inland Empire filmmaking community. We met briefly at Alex Hwang's first film showcase in Claremont. We also "met" in Fontana at Center Stage where I was one of the audience members drafted for The Spelling Bee.
So here's why I'm writing. I've recently launched a FREE website, Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net), and I'd love to have you check it out. It's for Inland Empire FILMMAKERS, but since indy filmmakers are frequently looking for actors, I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES. Hi Jenn,
We have never met, but we do have some friends in common, and I have seen some of your work as Malvolia. You make an ideal gothic evil temptress.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've recently launched FREE a website, Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net), and I'd love to have you check it out. It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES.
If you're interested, I'd like to list you on the website in both the FILMMAKER and ACTRESS section. I've attached two screenshots--one is a sample FLIMMAKER page for you to review. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you like.
The other screenshot is to give you an idea as to how your ACTOR listing would look. Until now, I've been focusing on the FILMMAKER pages (there is still a lot to do) and have only just begun inviting actors. It's going to take awhile to accumulate enough to activate their sections. If you'd like to be listed, please send me--along with your go-ahead--the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use, your HEIGHT, and BIRTH YEAR. If there are different photos you'd prefer, you can send those, too.
I won't include you as an ACTOR or activate your FLIMMAKER page without your OK.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Lauren,
Well, I imagine Motherhood is keeping you pretty busy (your little one is so precious!), and once theaters open, I'm sure you'll be in demand there, too. However, I'm going to send you this invite, anyway.

Here's a voice from the past for you. Back before 2020 you were a member of Actors of the Empire, a website I had to shut down. Well, that idea has evolved, and I'd like to invite you to check out the new website I've just launched called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net).
It's for Inland Empire filmmakers, but since indy filmmakers are frequently looking for actors, I'm including sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES. Like the previous website, it's completely FREE.
If you're interested, I'd like to list you on the website. I've attached a screenshot of the layout to give you an idea as to how it will look, but I won't include you without your OK. Until now, I've been working on the FILMMAKER pages and have only just begun inviting actors. It's going to take awhile to accumulate enough to activate their pages.
If you'd like to be listed, please send me--along with your go-ahead--the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use, your HEIGHT, and BIRTH YEAR. If there's a photo you'd prefer I use, you can send that, too.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Candace,
If you've already received this invite, please forgive me. I thought I'd already sent it, but my record shows that I haven't. Anyway....
Thank you (again) for taking part in the table read. I can't tell you how good it was to see you again!
Now I am writing to you about something else. I'm inviting you to check out a FREE website I've just launched called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) for filmmakers in the IE. Since indy filmmakers are frequently looking for actors, I've included sections for ACTORS and ACTRESSES. So often our filmmakers turn to LA to find their talent, and that seems a shame as we have so much of it here in the Inland Empire.
I'd like to list you on the website. I've attached a screenshot of the layout to give you an idea as to how it will look, but I won't include you without your OK. Until now, I've been focusing on the FILMMAKER pages, and I've just begun to invite ACTORS, It may take me some time to accumulate enough to activate their sections.
If you'd like to be listed--along with your go-ahead--please send me the CONTACT INFO you'd like people to use, your HEIGHT, and BIRTH YEAR. If there's a photo you'd prefer I use, you can send that, too.
Please let me know if you'd like to be included. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Kevin,
I am writing you invite you to check out (and hopefully participate in) a FREE website I've just launched. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net), and it's designed to help IE filmmakers keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other.
I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot for your review. (Size decreased for screenshot) There may be more info you'd like me to add. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. Also, if there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out. It could also use an accuracy check.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them in the SIDE HUSTLE section, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well. Maybe some appropriate shots from SBVC or LyonsDenPro?
So,Kevin, shall I activate your page? If so, please send me the contact info you'd like people to use. (Otherwise I'll have to go with "Don't call him; he'll call you.")
I view the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Faye,
Though you may not remember me, we met at the last live IE 48 Hour Film Project screening at the Regal theater. We spoke briefly, and you gave me your card.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've just launched a FREE website for IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net), and I'm inviting any and all filmmakers in the IE to participate. I'm hoping you will be one of them. It's designed to help us keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other.
I've put together sample IE FILMMAKER page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. There's not much to it right now as I haven't been able to dig up much information on you. Never-the-less, I've attached a screen shot of the page for you to review. As you can see, it could really use your help in fleshing it out. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. Perhaps there are some links you'd like me to add. Also, if there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
I don't know whether or not you act, but if you want, I can also list you in the Actor gallery. Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them in the SIDE HUSTLE section, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.

Hello, Andrew, (Hardin)
I don't know if you'll remember me, but I've certainly been to Riverside Studios a time or two on a number of projects. At one time we spoke, and I volunteered to photo and catalog your props for you. (That offer still stands, BTW.)

-- said Hello Rickerby,
Since the opening of your Riverside Studios, you've no doubt had many, many people come through your doors so you may not remember me. However, we have crossed paths a time or two. I was with the last group to use the facility under the film commission. We were on our way out as you were coming in. We spoke at least once when I volunteered to photograph and catalog your prop department (The offer is still open, by the way.), and I gave either you or Andrew--I forget which--a flash drive with a database of actors. (I also took part in your haunted hospital.) I see by your website that the studio has come a long way.
Anyway, I am writing you for a reason. I've just launched a FREE website for IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net), and I'd like to invite you to check it out and, if you're interested, participate.. I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached two screenshots for your review. (It was too large to fit onto one shot) There may be more info you'd like me to add. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. Also, if there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them in the SIDE HUSTLE section, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well. So shall I activate your page? If so, please send me the contact info you'd like people to use. (Otherwise I'll have to put "Don't call him; he'll call you.")

Hi Nico,
How are you? Hope you've been surviving the pandemic which seems--I hope, I hope--to be drawing to something like an end. I know that not a lot has been happening film-wise for quite awhile.
Anyhow, I am writing you for a reason. I've just launched a FREE website for IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net), and I'd like to invite you to check it out and maybe participate. It's designed to help us keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other.
I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot for your review. (size reduced to fit screenshot) It has a link to your demo reels, but you may have other links you'd like me to add. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. For instance, you may want to flesh out your profile a bit. Also, if there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses I'd be happy to list them in the SIDE HUSTLE section, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.

I've long viewed the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. I know you've always been community minded, too. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. Please let me know.
Hi Phil,
It's certainly been a long time. The last time I saw you was at the last live IE 48. What a shame it just got started up again when the pandemic put the kibosh on everything.

There's not a lot a whole lot in it; I know you've done much more, but I do have a link to Smoke. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. More projects and/or links for instance, or. perhaps a photo you'd prefer.
I can list you in the ACTORS section, too, if you like. Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed. I've attached another screenshot to show you what your entry would look like in that section.

Well, it's certainly been a long time since "Anna and Paul." I looked for it the other day, and couldn't find it. I've really been enjoying your facebook posts.

Hi Marc,
It's certainly been a long time. With the pandemic putting the kibosh on almost everything, I think the last time we saw each other was at the 909 film festival.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I'm launching a FREE website for Inland Empire filmmakers to help us keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other. I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot for your review. There's not a lot in your bio right now, and it could use some fleshing out. Also, I might be missing some of your projects. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If, for instance, there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
I can list you in the ACTORS section, too, if you like. Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed. I've attached another screenshot to show you what your entry would look like in that section.
I've already entered Schryer's Tile and Grout-Carpet-Uphosltery under SIDE HUSTLES. If you have any other non-film related businesses, I'd be happy to list as well, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.

Hi Jhourdan,
Well, it's certainly been awhile since we got to work on Erased. Last I heard, it was actually completed. This pandemic has gone on so long now that this communication must feel like a voice out of the distant past.
It's pretty empty right now, and possibly not accurate. On Erased, I know you did an outstanding job setting up the office, but it seems to me you did other things, too. Sound? Camera at one point? (I know you acted, but I'm keeping acting experience for the ACTORS GALLERY.).
I've attached another screen shot to show you what your entry would look like in that section.

PS -- I hope we get to work together again, soon.

It certainly seems like a long time since we've done anything together. Happy to see (via fb) that exciting things have been happening for you and that Absurd TV is going strong.

I view the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. Please let me know.
Hi Bessy,
My, it's certainly been a long time since we embarked upon the "Erased" adventure. I hope I get to see it sometime. I do get to see some of your adventures on fb, and I'm glad you are doing well. I live in hope that the worst of this pandemic is over and that we'll be able to get back to something like normal soon. When that happens, perhaps we can get the crew together for a reunion.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I'm launching a FREE website for Inland Empire filmmakers to help us keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other. I've called that website INDEPENDENT-EMPIRE (www.independentempire.net), and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.
I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. There's not a lot in it right now, but I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If, for instance, there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out. I've attached a screenshot for you to review.
I can list you in the ACTORS section, too, if you like. Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed. I've attached another screen shot to show you what your entry would look like.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses I'd be happy to list them in the SIDE HUSTLE section, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.

Hey Tom, (Prill)
It's been a long time since we've worked together, but I hope we'll be able to do so again some time.

I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. It has a link to Bitten by Love and Modern Family 2020. Maybe there are some other links and/or credits you'd like me to include. Also, I didn't my best, but I couldn't find much info for your bio. Would you want to give more info to flesh it out, or even write your own? I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If, for instance, there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses (can't really call being deputy city manager a "side hustle"), I'd be happy to list them in the SH section. When your book(s) go on sale, I'd be happy to post a link, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.
So, Tom, shall I activate your page? If so, please send me the contact info you'd like people to use. (Otherwise I'll put "Don't call him, he'll call you.")

Hi Katherine,
Well, it's been awhile. I hope you're well and still writing. Some time ago I got a message purporting to be you asking to be added to my Linkedin network. I say "purported," because I joined Linkedin in response to a gmail invitation from a friend. It turns out that friend had not sent the gmail. So I technically have a Linkedin account, but I pretty much just ignore it.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've set up the infrastructure for a FREE website intended to help Inland Empire filmmakers keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other. I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. It has a link to Stalker, and I'd love to add more links to your work. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If, for instance, there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them. When your book(s) go on sale, I'd be happy to post a link, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.
So, Katherine, shall I activate your page? I've always viewed the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. Please let me know.
Hi Thomas,
Our paths have crossed a time or two so I'm hoping you remember me. Like you, I am an active member of the Inland Empire film community.
I've just launched a FREE website for IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net), and I'd like to invite you to check it out and, if you're interested, participate. It's designed to help us keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other.
I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot for your review. Your experience is so extensive that the page would not fit on just one or even two pages--even reduced in size. Even so, there may be more info you'd like me to add.

Hi William, (d'Anthony)
We met a couple of times at Riverside Studios. I volunteered to photo and catalog props for you, and I actually got one day's work in when we were told not to come back due to the pandemic. That offer is still open, BTW, but I'm writing to you about something different.

Hey Sean, -- said yes
Seems like forever since we worked together on Erased. The pandemic sure did put the kybosh on our group. I see, though, that it hasn't stopped you from moving forward. Congratulations on your CHC Air Quality Short Film Contest win for Clear the Air.

It's pretty skeletal at the moment. For one thing, it needs a bio. You can take a look at the few activated IE FILMMAKERS links for examples. If you'd like me to include you in the website (and I hope you will), you can either write your own bio or send me the info and I'll write for you. I would like to include your city.
Your short film is linked on the "NOW SHOWING" page as well as your FILMMAKER page. I can list you in the ACTORS section, too, if you like. Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed. I've attached another screen shot to show you what your entry would look like. If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES, I'd be happy to list you there, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.
So what do you think, Sean? Shall I include you? I view the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. Hi Petra,
I know things are pretty intense in your life right now, and you're no doubt working yourself to death on your campaign against parental alienation. If this is a bad time to hit you up about this, I truly apologize and will understand if you don't respond. I'll just take it as an "I'm not ready to deal with this right now" until I hear differently.

I've linked as many of your short films that I could find, including your recent interview with Sen. Menedez, in the "NOW SHOWING" section. I can list you in the ACTORS section, too, if you like. Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed. I've attached another screen shot to show you what your entry would look like. Hi James,
My goodness it's been a long time since we've been in touch. This must seem like a voice from the far distant past. (Think Pryde's 48 Hour films, a long-ago New Year's Party, and a table read for a never-made SF film -- not to mention my daughter's wedding.) Anyway, I am writing for a reason.

I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot of the page for you to review. I did the best I could with what I could find, but I'm sure there's much more that could be included. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If, for instance, there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.
So how about it, James, would you like to be included? I've always seen the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but, I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Miryiam,
Just to reintroduce myself, you and Lenka visited the IEFC (the group I'm part of ) in Rancho Cucamonga. You also visited our shoot in Chino, and I believe we were also at a shoot together for Pryde Pierce's Lichlord Dan. Also, we're fb friends.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've set up a FREE website that I hope will be of use to IE filmmakers. (I know you're based in LA, but you've shown a willingness to participate in the IE community, so as far as I'm concerned, you've been "adopted.") It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.
I've set up a sample FILMMAKER page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot of the page for you to review. I can add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If you have a different photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.

PS -- Do you think Lenka would also like to be included, and if so, as actor, filmmaker, or both? I've also attached a copy of what her ACTOR entry would look like. Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, though, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed.
Hey, Lloyd,
It's certainly been a minute since we worked on the IFIE project Cut Throat. Nothing was ever done with it, but I don't know if you ever even got to see that short film that you produced. I recall I had such a good time at one of your script readings. One of the plays we read was, I believe, "Two-Bit Puta." I understand that Katherine Phillips and Jhourdan Flemming have joined your group and that you have been conducting it on zoom. They really enjoy it. A group I'm in, Independent Filmmakers of the Inland Empire (check us out on fb), participated in 2020's virtual 48 Hour competition (we didn't win), and I was disappointed to see you weren't involved.
So anyway, here's the reason for this "blast from the past." Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've set up a FREE website that I hope will be of use to IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.

Hi Mike,
You may remember a couple of years ago you checked in on a film group that was just forming. (It became our Inland Empire Filmmakers Collective). I was one of the people there. Hope you're doing well. I tried to watch One Night at the Laudromat, but it was marked "Private."
Anyway, here's why I'm "shooting you an email." I've set up a FREE website for IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.
I've set up a sample FILMMAKER page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot of the page for you to review. I can add, delete, or change anything you'd like. I know you've done a lot more than I could find to put on your page. I remember one film, for instance, it which you managed to make bananas absolutely scary. Also, there is almost nothing on your profile. If you have a different photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.

Hi Rudy,
I think I sent you this letter, but I'm not sure, so I'm resending it.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've set up a FREE website that I hope will be of use to IE filmmakers. (I know you're not technically in the IE, but you're IEFC so as far as I'm concerned, you've been "adopted.") It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.

Hi Alex,
It's been a very long time, but I've been following you on fb, and glad to see that you and Kate are doing well.
So anyway, I am emailing you for a reason, something I hope you'll be interested in: I've set up a FREE website for IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net), and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.
I've set up a sample FILMMAKER page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot of the page for you to review. You've got a lot of projects under your belt--to many to fit on the screenshot--but almost nothing in your bio. That's because I couldn't find anything on you. It could certainly use some fleshing out. I can add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If you have a different photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
I can list you in the ACTORS section, too, if you like. Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed. I've attached another screen shot to show you what your entry would look like.

Hi Pat,
Though I haven't had the pleasure of working with you, we have met a few times, and it's clear you are one active IE filmmaker. That's why I'm writing you now. I've set up a FREE website that I hope will be of use to IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.

Hi Charles,
It's been a long time since we've seen each other, so I'll reintroduce myself. We were in a scene together in Mark's Magic Maddie: The Park episode. That was so much fun, and you are so talented.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've set up a FREE website that I hope will be of use to IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.
I've set up a sample FILMMAKER page for you, including links to your two productions, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot of the page for you to review. I can add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If you have a different photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
I can list you in the ACTORS section, too, if you like. (It would be a shame not to.) Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed. I've attached another screen shot to show you what your entry would look like.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.

Hi Tom,
Though I haven't had the pleasure of working with you, we have met a few times, and we do have some friends in common. I'm reaching out to you as a fellow (albeit more advanced) filmmaker in the IE.
I'm launching a FREE website that I hope will be of use to IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.
I've set up a sample FILMMAKER page for you, including links to some of your work, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot of the page for you to review. Hi Elio,
It's certainly been a long time! I don't know if you even remember me, but I hope you do.
I'm launching a FREE website that I hope will be of use to IE filmmakers. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.
I've set up a sample FILMMAKER page for you, including a link to On Lemon Street, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot of the page for you to review. I can add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If you have a different photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
I doubt if you consider your law firm a "SIDE HUSTLE," but if you'd like, I'd be happy to list it in that section. You'd just need to email me the pertinent information--maybe a business card. And I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.
So, Elio, would you like me to activate your page? If so, please send me the contact info you'd like people to use. (Otherwise I'll put "Don't call him, he'll call you.")
I view the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. I look forward to hearing from you.
It's designed to help us keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other.
I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead.
Maybe some shots of what's happening at Riverside Studios, for instance, or news of what's going on in the Theatre, Film & Digital Production department at UCR.
So shall I activate your page? If so, please send me the contact info you'd like people to use. (Otherwise I'll have to put "Don't call him; he'll call you.")
I view the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Nico,
How are you?

I've attached a screenshot for your review.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them in the SIDE HUSTLE section, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well.
So, Daniel, shall I activate your page? If so, please send me the contact info you'd like people to use. (Otherwise I'll put "Don't call him, he'll call you.")

Hi Daniel, --Said yes
Well, it's certainly been a long time since "Anna and Paul." I looked for it the other day, and couldn't find it. I've really been enjoying your facebook posts.

Hi Marc,
It's certainly been a long time. With the pandemic putting the kibosh on almost everything, I think the last time we saw each other was at the 909 film festival.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I'm launching a FREE website for Inland Empire filmmakers to help us keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other. There's not a lot in your bio right now, and it could use some fleshing out. Also, I might be missing some of your projects. I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like.

Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot for your review. It's pretty empty right now, and possibly not accurate. On Erased, I know you did an outstanding job setting up the office, but it seems to me you did other things, too. Sound? Camera at one point? (I know you acted, but I'm keeping acting experience for the ACTORS GALLERY.). I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If, for instance, there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.

Hi Mark, (Schafer)
It certainly seems like a long time since we've done anything together. Happy to see (via fb) that exciting things have been happening for you and that Absurd TV is going strong.

Hi Bessy,
My, it's certainly been a long time since we embarked upon the "Erased" adventure. I hope I get to see it sometime. I do get to see some of your adventures on fb, and I'm glad you are doing well. I live in hope that the worst of this pandemic is over and that we'll be able to get back to something like normal soon. When that happens, perhaps we can get the crew together for a reunion.

Hi Thomas,
Our paths have crossed a time or two so I'm hoping you remember me.
I'm happy to add, delete, or change anything you'd like. Also, if there's a photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.

Hi Petra,
I know things are pretty intense in your life right now, and you're no doubt working yourself to death on your campaign against parental alienation. If this is a bad time to hit you up about this, I truly apologize and will understand if you don't respond. I'll just take it as an "I'm not ready to deal with this right now" until I hear differently.
Anyway, here's why I'm writing. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. I look forward to hearing from you. (If and when you have the time)
Hi James,
My goodness it's been a long time since we've been in touch. This must seem like a voice from the far distant past. (Think Pryde's 48 Hour films, a long-ago New Year's Party, and a table read for a never-made SF film -- not to mention my daughter's wedding.) Anyway, I am writing for a reason.
I've set up a FREE website intended to help Inland Empire filmmakers keep up to date as to who we are, what we're up to, view each other's work, and get in touch with each other. I've called that website INDEPENDENT-EMPIRE (www.independentempire.net), and I'd like it to include you. Please check it out.
I've set up a sample IE FILMMAKERS page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead.
So what do you think, Miryiam, should I activate your page? I view the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. I look forward to hearing from you.
I've set up a sample FILMMAKER page for you, but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screenshot of the page for you to review. I can add, delete, or change anything you'd like. If you have a different photo you'd prefer, I'd be happy to switch it out.
I can list you in the ACTORS section, too, if you like. Since I'm focusing first on filmmakers, it will take longer to get those pages up to speed. I've attached another screen shot to show you what your entry would look like.
If you have any non-film related SIDE HUSTLES or businesses, I'd be happy to list them, and I'd love for you to send me any info you might be able/willing to contribute to the other sections as well. Maybe information on your script reading group?
So what do you think, Lloyd, should I activate your page? I view the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Mike,
You may remember a couple of years ago you checked in on a film group that was just forming.

This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate. Please let me hear from you.
Hi Alex,
It's been a very long time, but I've been following you on fb, and glad to see that you and Kate are doing well.

Hi Elio,
It's certainly been a long time!
Hi Kimberly,
You may remember that some years ago you screened Jack the Reaper for the Inland Empire Independent Filmmakers. We met there, and later you very generously invited me to a birthday party at your home. Since you're operating at a higher level than most of us, I'm not sure this is something that will interest you, but I did want to make sure you were invited.
I've recently launched a FREE website that I hope will be of use to IE FILMMAKERS. It's called Independent-Empire (https://www.independentempire.net) and I'd like to invite you to participate. If you get a few minutes, please check it out.

Hi Eric,
You have moved so far up into the professional levels of editing that I actually hesitated to write to you, but I did want to make sure you were at least invited.

*****Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've called that website INDEPENDENT-EMPIRE. It's about to launch, and I'd like it to include you.
****I've taken the liberty of setting up a sample page for you (see attachment), but but I won't activate it without your go-ahead. I've attached a screen shot of the page for you to review. It's pretty skeletal at the moment, and I could really use your help in fleshing it out. (Actually, once I get the Skills pages up and running, you can have an Editor page, too. You can even have an actor page if you want one as I see you have some IMDB acting credits.) Of course, if you don't like the idea, I'll respect that and simply not activate your page. You are welcome to visit the site and have a look around, though much of it is still under construction.
*****Your page is more complete than most, but still may be missing things you'd like to have included. It could also use an accuracy check. Of course, if you don't like the idea at all, I will remove your page immediately
****I also have you listed on the Actor page. As with the filmmaker page. Please let me know if this is OK with you. If it is, please send me the following info: birth year, height, SAG-AFTA?, and how you'd like to be contacted. Also, if you'd prefer a different photo, please send me one. At present, I'm starting with the bare minimum. Time permitting, I hope to give each of the photos a page of its own. At that time--if I'm able to get that far--I may be asking you for more information.
**** Anyway, here's why I'm writing. I've been spending some of this pandemic year building the infrastructure for a FREE informational website for filmmakers in the IE. It's called INDEPENDENT~EMPIRE and I've included a section for ACTORS and ACTRESSES. It's about to launch, and I'd like it to include you.
Please come take a look at the website, XXXXXX and especially check out the actor page. If you'd rather not be listed in Independent Empire, I will remove your photo immediately. If, however, you like the idea, please send me the following info: birth year, height, SAG-AFTA?, and how you'd like to be contacted (email, fb, phone, carrier pigeon...). Also, if you'd prefer a different photo, please send me one. At present, I'm starting with the bare minimum. In the future I hope to make "upgrades" available. Please be assured that, as a former member of Actors of the Empire, any upgrades I may develop will be automatic and totally free.
If you'd like to be included in any of the other sections on the website, please let me know.
"Side Hustle" is for any non-filmmaking business you may own or non-filmmaking endeavors in which you are engaged. If you'd like to be represented there, please provide all relevant information. A business card would be nice, too.
To be included in the "Specialized Skill" section, you must either have been paid for your work or have a reference I can contact who will provide a recommendation. (That person will be named in your listing.)
Many of our independent filmmakers look to LA to cast their projects, not realizing the vast pool of talent we have right here in the Inland Empire. I'd like to help let them know that you're out there. So what do you think? Would you like to be included?
I look forward to hearing from you.

*****If you do like the idea, I a slew of stock questions for you:
*) Are you satisfied with the photo of yourself? If not, please send me another.
*) Do you still live in Corona? Is it OK to publish that information?
*) How long have you been active in the IE?
*) Do you have a company name?
*) In what way(s) do you want people to contact you--phone, email, fb message, carrier pigeon, etc.?
*) Is there anything on the page I should correct or that you'd like me to delete?
*) Is there anything you'd like me to add? This might include projects you've worked on or a link to a demo reel. Project links will be posted on both your personal filmmaker page and in the "Now Playing" section. Demo reels will be posted on your personal filmmaker page.
The personal filmmaker pages are intended for self-promotion. Feel free to use yours as such. If you like, you're welcome to write your own mini-bio. If you have a business card, you're welcome to include it. I can also post a link for you to your website, Vimeo, or YouTube channel.
*) Are there any other film-related links you'd like me to include?
*) Is there a platform from which one could view, buy, or rent your films?
*) Do you know of any (IE) resources such as locations, casting calls, reliable equipment rental places, studios, etc. that you are willing to share?
*) What are you working on right now? Got any pictures to share?
*) Do you have any other BTS photos you'd like to share? Please indicate if they are preproduction, production, or post production in nature. Photos from current or recent work will be posted in "Behind the Scenes." Blasts-from-the-past photos will be put in the "Soft Focus" section.
*) Are there any other sections in which you'd like to be included?
"Side Hustle" is for any non-filmmaking business you may own or non-filmmaking endeavors in which you are engaged. If you'd like to be represented, please provide all relevant information. A business card would be nice, too.
I'd certainly like to include you in the "Specialized Skill" section. If that's OK with you, just like for Side Hustle, please send me all relevant information and maybe a business card.
So what do you think? I welcome any and all feedback you might have. I see the IE as a very big place with a lot of little "islands" of filmmakers, but I still regard us as a community. This is my attempt to contribute to and help strengthen that community and provide at least a small way in which we can support each other. I hope you'll want to participate.
