Phillip E. Walker, who earned an MFA in Acting from UC Davis, has more than a half century of experience in "The Industry," and has built a diverse career in the arts.
He has held multiple university professorships including chairing the Fisk University Speech & Drama Department. He was the first ever California Arts Council Arts Touring Coordinator. He has created and lead more than ten youth summer arts camps including SummerCampCalifornia.
Phil has served full-time stints with a number of theatre companies including as a member of the TONY Award winning San Francisco Mime Troupe. Taught from an early age to be a "professional traveler," Philip founded the African American Drama Company in 1977 and served as its Artistic Director. The AADC has performed internationally and at least twice in each of the United States. He has also directed many plays. In all, Phil has more than 400 live theatrical productions under his belt.
Phil also founded the Inland Empire Film Festival in Rancho Cucamonga which presents annually on Indigenous People's Day.
